Ani has a built a strong track record over the last 20 years at top-notch organizations such as McKinsey, GE, and United Technologies. Over the years, he has led teams that in total achieved several billion dollars in annual organic growth and separately added $700Million+ in annual profits through pricing and cost-cutting projects.
Ani founded Chapel Hill Advisors Group in October 2008. The firm has successfully achieved strong positive references from all of its clients.
Prior to founding CHAG, Ani was a Senior Executive at United Technologies. As President of Kidde Residential & Commercial, he led a multi-national consumer and commercial goods division of UTC Fire & Security with 800 employees and 3 manufacturing plants. Previously, he was Vice President of Worldwide Pricing and was on the top management team of UTC Fire & Security, a $6B segment.
Before joining United Technologies, Ani held Operational and Marketing Executive roles at General Electric Corporation, where he worked directly for an SVP of GE and for CMOs of GE and GE Energy, a $20B business.
Previously Ani was a consultant at McKinsey & Company for four years. There he served industrial and consumer goods clients and was a leader of the Firm's pricing and B2B marketing practices.
Ani achieved his MBA with High Honors from Chicago Booth in 1996. He was nominated into Beta Gamma Sigma for his achievements there. He holds an MSME from The Ohio State University and a B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology. In addition, he is a graduate of GE's Corporate Initiatives and Advanced Marketing Management programs.
Ani was cited by BusinessWeek in a Pricing article in 2009. He is a guest speaker on Pricing at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a STAR advisor at UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Students at both schools have rated him as Excellent and his spring 2009 STAR team was selected by UNC faculty as the best practice model.
